Playing Times - Club Nights

Any senior member of “club standard” and “played in” is welcome to turn up and join in the tennis on any of the following club nights throughout the year:

Mondays 2 courts available from 6pm – 10pm

Tuesdays 2 courts available from 6pm – 10pm

Wednesdays 3 courts available from 6pm – 10pm

Juniors have their own club evening:

Fridays (mid April – October half term) 6pm – 7.30pm

Playing Times - Private Play

Courts can be booked throughout the year during the daytime except when tournaments are being held and group coaching is being given. When matches are being played, one court is available for private booked play, but consideration must be given to match players.

Courts may be booked in an evening at the following times:

Mondays Court No. 3 available from 6pm – 10pm

Tuesdays Court No. 3 available from 6pm – 10pm

Thursdays All 3 courts available from 6pm – 10pm

Fridays All 3 courts available from 8pm – 10pm

Booking sheets are in the clubhouse and members may sign up one week in advance to book a court. Details of matches and coaching are given on the booking sheet.

Balls and Floodlights

Balls are supplied for club matches, championship games and club nights. At other times members must supply their own.

Floodlights can be used as and when necessary for which there is no charge as the running cost is included in the annual subscription.

Dress Code

It is requested that members dress in reasonable fashion at all times i.e. tracksuit when cold or recognised tennis wear. Appropriate shoes (trainers) should be worn. A current membership tag must be displayed on footwear or rackets.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome to the club but must be accompanied by a club member and at the discretion of a committee member on club evenings to prevent overcrowding. All visitors must be signed in by the member in the visitors' book and pay the fee before going on court. Visitors may play up to three times before being requested to join the club.
